The kindness left in the world: we went on a family trip yesterday and stopped at a place called "weinerlicious" in Mackinac city Michigan. I had left my purse. She found me through a drs appointment card. Thry called me asking if I had lost my purse. First it had 1000$ in cash and 4 credit cards. All the money was there, plus my credit cards. AMEN to this lady! She is getting a reward!!❤️❤️

We ordered 5 dogs.- The Mackinaw, which was ok, but covered in cheese sauce- Chicago, it was good- The Ruben, it was ok. And a couple of plain dogs with ketchup. They were good. They could have earned more stars for flow of the facility inside and cleanliness.- Flow: it's horrible. No other way to explain it. You walk in the front door and if there are 5 other people, then you are outside the door. This place isn't small. Then you have to back up after ordering to get to the soda machine, going back thru the line, forcing everyone to have to move out of your way. There is a wall dow the whole middle of the dining area blocking access to the end of the bar that no one sits at. So they just store cleaning equipment there instead. - cleanliness: just seems a little run down. The cleaning equipment is sitting right out in the open where people could be sitting or waiting on orders. There were other items stacked along the wall that blocked the dining room. Staff was friendly and polite.

A fun experience up north. They serve Koegel hot dogs. I had the Chicago Dog it was great. We sat outside and watched cars head over the bridge.

My husband liked his hot dog and my kids liked the corn dogs. I had the veggie dog which was good but they couldn't explain it well enough to get an idea of what it would be like. Where I teach our mascot is the Hot Dog so we had to take a picture too!

Loved this place. Simple ordering: hotdogs or burgers with your choice of toppings. Great waffle fries too. Easy in & out. Kids loved it too.

The food was so delicious and the lady that took our order was so sweet! She even came to our table when we finished and told us not to forget to get refills when we left! Everyone was so pleasant! Will definitely come back again! Oh and the cheese fries were AMAZING!

I couldn't wait to eat here. Not disappointed.

Simple options. Quick and friendly service. The food was good. I knocked off a star because it wasnt the cleanest place in the world. The areas where the food was being prepped was fine, but the bathroom smelled like pee and the rest of the space was cluttered. But, even so, its worth a stop if you're feeling like a weiner!

First off,A 30 ft WEINER on the roof! But good dogs and nice staff! Worth the drive from anywhere.

Just hot dogs. You can get hot dogs anywhere, these were no different. I'm not a hot dog fan at all, and I will only eat them if cooked over an open flame. We were hungry and my husband wanted to stop here, I'm not sure how these hot dogs were cooked but I was impressed that they did taste like they were cooked over an open flame.Their waffle fries we're pretty good. This was the first time I've had waffle fries, so this part of the review shouldn't count, right. LolIt was very clean inside and out. 5+ stars for how clean it was.

We stopped here on the way to the upper peninsula. I can’t resist when a merchant puts out the effort to make a massive sculpture of their product and puts it on top of their building. For a last minute decision, getting off and back on the road wasn’t an inconvenience at all. The hot dogs were worth the stop.

The food was good the fries were huge an fresh.

Great quality food at a good price! The Mackinaw hot dog and waffle fries were AMAZING. The free refills make a small drink definitely your best bet for a drink. Always a good stop and we will be back!

Had a foot long Chicago dog and let me tell you it was spot on, from the smell to the taste. My wife had the braught and it was also delicious. Even my 18 month old loved it here!

There's a giant hotdog on the roof-- of course this place is awesome! :) It is a fun atmosphere and the hotdogs are delicious. I love the t-shirts too, and usually buy one when they have my size in stock.

We go here whenever we're in Mackinaw City. The employees are so friendly and we like chatting with them. The food is really good-cheese covered waffle fries are delicious and a small is enough for 2 people to share! All the dogs are tasty.

Found this place on my honeymoon with my wife. We loved it had it for lunch two days in a row.

The dogs are great and the people are awesome! When I go into Weinerlicious I am always greeted with a smile. They workers are friendly and aim to please. I love the Chicago Dog, but they make a mean Coney too.

Great selection, great prices, fast & friendly service!! Right in the heart of Mackinaw City!! We come back every year!

Wow was the service fast! It was absolutely packed (4th of July weekend) and they were able to pump people through. They were very quick and efficient while still maintaining a degree of congeniality. The food was good and hot, and while a bit overpriced I was satisfied overall and plan to return in the future. I'm not sure if there was a drive through window but if there isn't, it would be a great addition.

It's a small restaurant is a town that thrives on tourism. I enjoyed the food, but felt it was pretty expensive for a hot dog. However definitely good for the experience.

This place is a gas with it's giant hot dog on top and it's great hot dogs. The Chicago dogs are excellent, so are the Mackinaw dogs. This place has become part of the Mackinaw bridge experience for my family. You gotta come here when you go across the bridge.

Fun place to eat at. Good dog. Cool atmosphere. It's on our list of stops when we travel up north.

Loved it... great people....busy but they move pretty fast..great dog and fries.....you can't miss it.....

This place has a great theme. Very restaurant including the restrooms, Food was very good. The hot dogs tasted great. Try the fries.... I loved them.

Excellent service and food!

The food here is just average hot dogs in my opinion. The giant hot dog on the top of the building is super cool and funny, and the inside is very pleasantly decorated. I would recommend going just so you can say you ate at the place with a big hot dog on top.

Excellent!Our group enjoyed the Chicago Dog (pictured), a Mackinac Dog, and a plain Coney Dog - No Bun, along with a basket of waffle fries. Everything was excellent, and the service was terrific. Sure, you pay a modest premium compared to the high-volume Coney Islands in Downtown Detroit, but the prices were very fair. I will certainly make a point to stop by more frequently on future trips to and from the Upper Peninsula.

The food is great!! A good selection of Wieners ... We liked the All Beef Coney Dog & Chicago Dog & Love the Big Waffle Fries! Staff is so friendly & helpful. We'll be back!

The atmosphere is fun, food is very fast and delicious! The Chicago was amazing and I will get that again. The waffle fries are also tasty. Prices are really good, especially for Mackinaw City. Food is filling. Worth a stop.

The food was good, the service was okay (not very friendly) and the wait was about 15 minutes. I thought it would have been better service because there were only 2 other tables with people at them and they were already served. Overall it was good.

Good alternative to all the other fast foods out there. Service and employees are excellent and quick. They offer sausages additional to their hot dogs. Prices range from $5-$8

It's decent food but wayyyyy over priced. $33 for 4 hotdogs and chili cheese fries is kind of ridiculous. It's more of "we visited the giant weiner" kind of thing.

This place is pretty hard to miss with the huge hot dog on the building! It seems to be newly renovated, which is one of the reasons we stopped in. The menu is very succinct, but a glorified hot dog stand doesn't need much. The hot dogs used were very delicious, as were the waffle fries and the add-ons. And it was really cheap! My boyfriend got the Reuben dog (hot dog topped with sauerkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing) and I got The Mackinaw (hot dog wrapped in bacon and drizzled in cheese). The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. We will be back!

Service was awesome. They kept my girls and I entertained by asking the oldest one if she knew the lyrics to The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Of course she didn't so they teased her about it in good manor. Food was excellent. Think between me and my oldest daughter we ordered one item too many. Two dogs and waffle fries each, the waffle fries enough were enough to fill you up. In all everything was totally worth the trip there. Have gone by there many times in the last few years, saying I want to go there, finally did and don't regret it. Will be back whenever I get back up to the Mackinac area.

We were tired of burgers on vacation. So happy with this fun option. The grandsons loved the Mackinaw dogs and the chocolate shakes! I would get a plain one next time just to taste the grilled flavor. The Chicago dog was great but I could tell the basic dog would have been awesome! Husband had the braut and sauerkraut- he would give it four stars! Simple place but good service.

We stopped because we are fans of the show Chuck. We were greeted by some very friendly staff. They gave us time to look over the menu and order. We sat up at the counter and enjoyed our meal and some very nice conversation with the manager and staff. They acted like we were old friends. We really like this place and will probably go back while we are here. Yummy yummy food and great people. Can't beat it!!

Great lunch spot. Mom and Pop feel. Not corporate.

Loved visiting is play some love speaking to the woman who was working there she was such a beautiful soul.... she loved visiting while she cleaned up and we loved our meal while visiting the area
